In this sequence Om is thrown out of the burning set due to a gas explosion and after few seconds the entire set explodes. The VFX team wanted to bring realism in the set explosion, but it was impractical to blow off the entire set, hence they took a smart decision of using a miniature of the giant set and exploded it, thus giving a perfect realistic effect.

CG and FX used:

This scene was a result of various composited sequences and some details created in CG.
The window glass and fire explosion were shot separately and composited with the CG wall with proper texturing and lighting matching the real wall of the set. A dummy was used to show that Om was thrown out of the set window due to the blast. And ultimately all these shots were composited together to get the final result.

The amazing fact about the sequence is that not only the wall was a CG art but also the trees around the miniature and particles used as debris were CG created. Arjun said, "The CG trees were used to add more thrill to the scene."

The effect of explosion in the environment, the light and the shadows on the CG trees, ground and on Om himself were also simulated in CG.
