Amongst the biggest grossers ever in Bollywood, Red Chillies' reincarnation saga which celebrates Bollywood, Om Shanti Om, superstarring Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal and debutant Deepika Padukone is loaded with fluent Visual effects. There are about 200 VFX shots in the movie including the Dhoom Tana Song, the Mother India fire sequence, the creation of huge snow globe, Shantipriya's death sequence, the Mohabbat man sequence, the climax sequence and many more. And the credit of these brilliant sequences goes to 'Redchillies.vfx', a division of "Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd" run by the trio of Keitan Yadav (Chief Operations Officer) Haresh Hingorani (Production Director) & Arjun Mitra (Creative Director),. They successfully completed the seemingly difficult task of VFX in this highly acclaimed movie of the year in a span of just three months.

While the usage of VFX in Bollywood is improving by the day and audiences taste and appetite for VFX has evolved, films like OSO and the finesse with which the VFX has been created leave the audiences awestruck!

Here's presenting an AnimationXpress.com case study on Red Chillies.VFX work in Om Shanti Om. The case study has been created by students of MIDDS Institute in Mumbai in a special arrangement where Red Chillies.VFX who gracefully shared details about the OSO VFX Work with the large student team from MIDD, who worked on the case study under guidelines and supervision by AnimationXpress.com and overall supervision and verification of content by RedChillies.VFX
