Om Kapoor gets the best actor Film Fare award for Mein Bhi Hu Na and Phir Bhi Dil Hai NRI, after receiving the award he partially recollects the moments of his past life.

Composited FX :

In this sequence the camera rotates in a 360 angle around Om Kapoor (SRK), a MILO camera was used to serve this purpose, it's an automated camera set on a track and can be programmed to move. MILO eliminates jerky moves and it is mainly used for matching separate scenes with same camera angles.

The sequence where famous actors like Amitabh Bacchhan, Rani Mukherji etc are being asked their views about OK was shot on the actual day of the Film Fare awards. Although the shots of Abhishek and Akshay Kumar were taken separately.
The set used for the Film Fare Awards was the original Awards set of the Yash Raj Studios. The sequence of OK receiving the award was shot after the actual Film Fare awards got over, without any audience and actors except for SRK.

The standing ovation for Om Kapoor and the "Batli" award sequence with Shreyas Talpade were shot separately.

All the five sequences were then composited together by the VFX team to form one award function sequence.
